Hingley
Looks like I am in the process of purchasing the Carb manifolds and carb kits for a 1990 VFR750 I was looking for feed back as to where the best quality for the price parts are Is it Ebay?, Honda?, etc, If it is aftermarket who makes a good kit? In addition does anyone have a link to a good set of instructions or Video they have seen on cleaning the carbs on a 3rdGen? If anyone is interested this is how she looks so far Thanks
Hingley
I am not sure why you can not view the pictures, I too can not see them, I do not know if it is a website issue or on this end. In any case I am looking for a good quality source ( and reasonable priced ) carb parts, such as o rings, bowl gaskets, jets etc in addition I wanted to find a good quality source for the Carb manifolds that mount the carbs to the heads
CharlieFoxtrot
Some advice here: http://www.daughertymotorsports.com/howto/carbs/carbs.html As well as other stuff. I got the manifolds from Honda last year, so look there first. Bowl gaskets and misc here: http://v4dreams.com/products.html And more advice Do you want stock jets or aftermarket? I got a Dynojet kit last year, and even if you have stock exhaust, mild rejetting will make it run better. Pretty sure stock jets are available from, um, Mikuni or Keihin, whoever makes our carbs. Good luck! kevin
