What is the internal spacing between 5th gen swingarm mounts?

Hello All,

I’ve got a Ducati 848 full swingarm to do the rear wheel conversion but got to thinking it might be possible to mount the entire Ducati setup (swingarm, hub and wheel).

Ducati spacing between mounts is 152mm (see pic). Swingarm mount bolt seems to be 20mm on right and 25mm on left (measuring holes as you sit on bike).

I can’t measure my 5th gen as shock is in the way but it looks really close!

Has anyone got these measurements or got a loose swingarm they can measure up?

Design-wise the Ducati item looks remarkably similar to our VFRs when viewed from beneath.

My 6th gen swing arm measures 176mm between the arms; 282mm outside.

My 5th gen swing arm measures 175mm between the arms; 274mm outside.

(These measurements are for the swing arm itself, and are not intended to be precise; bushings, bearings and spacers determine the true width.)

Ciao,

JZH, you’re a diamond - many, many thanks for your rapid reply!

Looks like the Ducati swinger is a no go. Off to eBay she sails...

Thanks again,
