Member Contributer Gdog Posted November 3, 2018 Member Contributer Share Posted November 3, 2018 I had a low side on a wet wood bridge last week 😞 Not a scratch on me, but the mid fairing and right engine cover took one for the team. I'm looking to paint the fairing, and hopefully replace the silver plastic 'VFR' piece. But I need a paint code...or at least a bit of guidance on where to find it on the frame. Very much appreciated Glen Any suggestions besides eBay and bike bandit on sourcing the odd bit (brake lever/foot peg/mirror etc)

Darrenk
It's called Darkness Black Metallic, NH463M. It's available online through ColorRite: https://www.colorrite.com/wizardresults.cfm If I recall, you should find the paint code on a label under the seat. Interesting side note, Honda is offering the 2019 Goldwing in the same color for 2019 in the U.S.

vfr1200f
They do wear black, but they are less visible on the street! It's not a "Man In Black" contest, it's about being visible. ✌️ I confirm, the paint code is usually under the seat.
