Mine was built in August 2015, has the standard round can and is stamped Euro 4.

Is it actually stamped Euro 4 or just E 4?

I understand the frame plate is the place to look.

the E4 is a E-marking or an e-marking, capital and lower letter are different markings. Even the standard silencer for the 5G has an e4 stamp on it

And that only means that the can was tested and approved for use from a test center in Italy in this case.
