VFR80025th
I have a 2007 RWB with oem bulbs. How long can they go? Are they difficult to replace? Nothing is too easy on this bike except chain lubing. LOL Thxs
SlickWeevil
My father still has OEM bulbs in his '95 Gen4 with 75k on the clock. H4's in my Subaru WRX are OEM with 120k on the clock. So I guess a good answer to "how long can they go?" is "How long is a piece of rope?".

In my experience, you definitely won't have to replace them very often. I run Philips 'Xtreme' bulbs (Power 120 or Vision 130) on my 2002 and have only had one go out on me in 5 years and ~80,000 km. I always change them in pairs because it's a fairly easy process to do the main beams. If you want to change the high beams, that is more involved but still fairly easy. If your charging system is on the fritz, too much voltage can kill the bulbs in short order.
