This is so frustrating.  Like many long-time motorcyclists I have acquired many awkwardly shaped and relatively fragile fairing panels and windscreen blades over the years.  Storing them for future use (even to get them out of the way when doing maintenance) is a huge PITA.  I have some panels stored in large OEM-type cardboard boxes, but these take up huge amounts of storage space and aren't very practical for the maintenance-type of short-term storage.  I've got some panels hanging on hooks from the garage rafters.  I'm also thinking about nets...  Any clever(er) solutions out there?

Cheers,

I’d put the big flat boxes behind a workbench along the wall. Loose panels I’d try to hang, but I’d try to cover it to keep it clean - a contractor trash bag or piece of old shower curtain liner or something. Nets in the rafters seems like a good idea too. If you aren’t using them and they’re spares, bubble wrap and store under the bed.
