buck66m
After countless hours of searching the web for a tail tidy for a 2017 Honda VFR800F, with no luck, I decided to modify the original monstrosity that it came with. This mod took about 30 minutes to complete.
AndyJak
I made my own too. Out of a security light bracket.
LucaBrasi
Anyone paying $80 for a "kit" is nuts - go to the hardware store - buy two inside angle irons ($2 max), rattle can spray them matte black, unscrew the rear fender and connect your license plate with the angle irons. Done. Looks as clean as any kit and you just saved yourself $80.
VideoGuy
Want to elaborate? How would you do it? Any pix? Thanks.

To each their own. I’m sure your ‘mod’ looks great for you.
AndyJak
Like I stated earlier, I didn't like these so called engineered eliminators so I made mine out of a security light bracket which was spare and new. Already matt black and looks like it is made by Honda in my opinion. No cutting or sawing. Works a treat.
Robborboy
Seconding the $5 hardware store brackets. I even opted to keep the reflectors on. Can't even tell that it isn't an overpriced $100 kit.
