H4 Bulb Alignment Shims

I have installed LED H4 replacement bulbs and one of them seems to flicker. I think the effect is like a modulating headlight. I have noticed that drivers ahead of me frequently pull over to let me by. It is rather nice to see the "traffic sea part" for me. I sometimes feel like Moses crossing the Red Sea. It's great.

However it might shorted the bulbs life. I have not checked but I suspect the preasure spring that holds them in is mis-functioning.

 

Fastrc46 in his classified ad for his fifth gen listed these as aftermarket mods: Laser cut adaptor rings for standard H4 headlight bulbs.

The correct product name is H4 Bulb Alignment Shims.
