tomperkins Posted March 21, 2018 Share Posted March 21, 2018 Hi there, I've got a 2002 VFR800 VTEC. The ABS light recently started flashing while riding (while on a motorway section). I looked into the fault and its error code number 3 meaning rear wheel speed sensor or pulser ring. I've inspected the area visually and all looks fine. I've cleared the code and its returned. Member Contributer manoil Posted March 25, 2018 Member Contributer Share Posted March 25, 2018 If sensor checks ok do the following: Pretty sure early Sensors are inductive so need to be correct distance from ring, take sensor out carefully and reseat after checking for crap in housing, also make sure the ring is free from rust and crap too Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
