I use this thread sealer on the threads of the drain bolts, never have to worry about new washers and never any leaks. This stuff never hardens to lock the bolt and is good for up to 135degC. mikem317 Posted May 10, 2018 Share Posted May 10, 2018 For the water pump drain, the name of the part is "WASHER, SEALING (6.5MM)". Part number is 90463-ML7-000. I think the cylinder head drain washer is the same part but I'm not sure. For the record, when I drained my coolant the first time, I didn't drain from the cylinder head. These things are not highly engineered special motorcycle parts! Two seconds on Amazon turned up 30x for $5. Assortments are also widely available. McMaster-Carr also sells them in bulk.
