aeroden
Hi guys, I've inherited PCV installed on my bike and it's just thrown under the seat banging around on every bump - too bad to handle this precious piece of hardware in such a way. Can you guys share ideas how to properly tuck it? Ideally I would keep it somewhere under tank... P.S. Does everyone have wire going from PCV harness to battery negative terminal? Member Contributer Marooncobra Posted November 25, 2017 Member Contributer Share Posted November 25, 2017 My PC has a negative wire going to the battery and it is Velcro to an area under the seat to prevent it moving.
Member Contributer Cogswell Posted November 25, 2017 Member Contributer Share Posted November 25, 2017 I used 2 sided tape to secure mine in place. Works well.
dynajohn
Velcro. You can buy it in various widths. I used two1/4" strips & fastened to rear fender.
aeroden
Thanks. So velcro it is. Do you think it will be safe (for PC harness) to move into left "fender pocket" - it make harness to cross the frame, and though looks like saddle to not press on it, I don't know what will happen when I hit a speed bump and my arse will push it down.
