Interestingly, guzzi would add/delete stripes and panels to fool the eye,

I found an example of the eye foolery (its the same tank):

Even tough I have bags and a rack, I couldnt pass up a craigslist deal with the entire touring package for 100 bones. If you are not familiar with Krauser, they started as a supplier for BMW, but due to popularity, it turned into the Givi of its day. Mounts go on top of shock, rear footpeg and tag bracket. The actual bags clip on the back of the rack with what looks like a seatbelt tungue. There is a section of the bage shaped exactly like the inside of the rack to locate it. Not as groovy as a Givi, but easy to mount, even without a specific kit, works well and period correct.

Hey Timmy, what do you think of the Millet GT, it is black, not red....

Mille GT is the evolution of ny bike. Underneath the differences, the frame is the same. As far as the motor, the only big block square fin i ever rode was my LeMans III 850, and I prefer a round fin 1000.

You should know never to drink and shop.

Or at least don't go to the check out.

Are you using that drill to take the shine off?

I like the photo of the 6G staring down the 50’s tech bike without even a hint of a “Vtec, YO!” smirk.....

soooo groovy.  And sooooo valuable. The prices on a real LeMans have gone crazy.  They are tiny in person, aren't they?

Why a Red Guzzi, because the previous owner was one of the riders who broke the 24 hour record in 1986 on board an '86 VFR700 and VFR750. 😀

Nothing some 50 grit sand paper won't take care of.
