My first post here - Hi everyone

Seriously considering buying a VFR800 this weekend, I'd be getting back into motorcycling after a number of years hiatus.

Just curious - how old are the owners of the VFR?

How old are you? Only polite to state yours first as your asking everyone else theirs.

Thanks for the welcome!

And thanks so much for the responses, really enjoyed the comments, and it solidified my hope that I wasn't too old for the VFR.

I'll let ya'll know if I pick it up tomorrow or not.

I'm in my fifties.  Maybe you're too young!!!

Now get off my lawn, whippersnapper...

Bought my VFR at 22... I have to be one of the youngest ones here.

Maybe I should get a Tuono instead, is that a young mans bike too?

Not necessarily. I have 2 of those, first gen and second gen.

"SFDownHill - Luca Brasi was (The Godfather film) mafia boss Vito Corleone's personal enforcer. A little known fact - in the 1972 film Luca was played by Lenny Montana, who in real life, was a bodyguard in the New York Colombo crime family."

Nice reference - thanks Luca. I'll have to watch the film again - it's been a long time.

Thanks also for starting a fun little thread.

By coincidence, it was on last night on AMC. I think they're replaying it again tonight.

And to partially answer the OP's question, I was 10 when Lonesome George recorded his version...
