keny
I did buy some old bike magazines from the mid 80´s, and one had a article whit a test ride of a proto Bimota Tesi that has an Honda V4 engine in the frame! So I did same scans to share whit you, most pics B&W but hope you still enjoy. At first I tought it was a VF750F engine, but from the text it says a RS750R engine, 120hp. Built for 24h races, it has a big 24 liter tank and a quit high 170kg dry weight. "Koeajo" text in the first picture is Finnish and translate to "test ride" in English! Ascalon
I am rather partial to a funny front end :) Especially one that is draped on the front of a big v-four!
Member Contributer Terry Posted January 25, 2017 Member Contributer Share Posted January 25, 2017 IIRC the very first Bimota Tesi prototype used a VF400F engine.
