Member Contributer Dutchy Posted February 19, 2016 Author Member Contributer Share Posted February 19, 2016 Once the weather improves, actual riding will tell how good this fix is. Have to wait till 1st March anyway. If not, Dutchy meet The Dutchy part trois :-)

Member Contributer Dutchy Posted March 5, 2016 Author Member Contributer Share Posted March 5, 2016 4 celcius today, which IS a wee bit nippy... Rode to a wrench day/meet, good that I arrived when the burgers were ready :-) The clutch rod oil leak fix seems to be holding and I do like the RT emulators initial feel. Roads too cold for any serious pushing, but less dive yet planted feel for now. This year I will be experimenting with them. Didnot drill extra holes, will wait if and when a spare set of front forks are at hand.

Member Contributer Dutchy Posted March 12, 2016 Author Member Contributer Share Posted March 12, 2016 Well, the crimp over clutch rod mod proved a temporary fix, she is back to leaking. So in 2 weeks I will visit The Dutchy for a spot of Dremelthodology.. did treat the girl to some semi-dino; did 4Kkm's on her last year and the previous owner said he'd changed it 1k prior. keny
I fear the new lights might hit the fork lowers, the orginal turn signal holders did so on my as other got slightly bent just...so if paint come off the fork lower just below the seals, and you hear a sharp snapp as you brake, you know what the problem is... keny
An add, for me the problem just happened now and then when steering in a certan angle and suspension did use a lot of travel. Member Contributer Dutchy Posted March 23, 2016 Author Member Contributer Share Posted March 23, 2016 A kind member from a Dutch forum gave me some chemical&heat resistant shrink-tubing to try and stem the leak on the clutch rod after the regular stuff clearly failed. But nope, still leaking............ So Satruday it will be Dremel Time! but at least I did get a test run in today! Spot the man at work!
