Last quote I had was nearly £600 from someone in the UK that did it for an RC45, that was way to expensive. I'm hoping that as these guys have done it already they will only require minor CAD undates to make the bits. Will pop over & discuss with them next month.

Hi all

Well went for another rider yesterday and got the traction control somewhat sorted.

Whilst I was out I took a short video with sound.

Problem is, how do i upload an MP4 file to a thread?

As far as the sound goes, I was a bit off when I said it sounds more like an RC30 than a VFR. It is more like an Aprilia, but is definitely sounds different.

Can someone give me a heads up on getting a video file uploaded please.

Cheers

Phil

Here is the list of permitted file types:

Allowed: gif, png, jpg, jpeg, tiff, flv, f4v, mp4, mov, m4a, m4v, 3gp, avi, wmv, mpg, mpeg, mkv

If your video is not compatible, try a photo hosting site such as Photobucket (2 Gigs free) and post the file link.

Thanks Cogswell.

That is interesting as my file is an MP4 and when I tried uploading it I was shown an error message that it was an unsupported file format.

I'll try again.

OK

Still getting error on trying to upload MP4 file so I've poked it up on YouTube at this URL

One thing to watch is towards the end of the video.

The tacho response. From zero to 7K is just about instantaneous

Cheers

that sounds effing sexy. And i have a pair of those gloves, too.

if you want to do light wheels, i have a forged marchesini from a duke 1098 in mine, the duke eccentric, etc fits in the vfr arm (5th gen) with a shim to make the diameters match and a spacer to centre the wheel.

Easy.

And ive got an 848 front wheel in my gsxr forks to match.

wheels cost me $600 for the pair from a wreckers. i ain't talented enough to figure out the big bore, so light wheels made it feel like i had an extra 20hp.
