Member Contributer Cogswell Posted February 28, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted February 28, 2015 Well, we made it. Weather and road conditions were perfect the whole way. Grand Canyon stop was short but awe inspiring. Setup in a nice rental house in Redmond, Oregon. Ass deep in boxes so no riding yet. Bikes fared well in the moving van. More to come... This has been one of the nicest winters in memory in the NW. There's a lot of great roads nearbly waiting for you . . .
Member Contributer 2thdr Posted March 9, 2015 Author Member Contributer Share Posted March 9, 2015 Out today for the first time in quite awhile... We took the ST1300 since it was a two up ride. Took OR 126 east out of Redmond to Prineville. Then headed south on OR 27 aka the Crooked River Highway. It was a nice ride, absolutely beautiful weather. Being unfamiliar with the road, some traffic, and some red cinder left over in the turns and along the edges I decided to take it easy. Can't wait to get back out on some other less traveled roads with the CB. https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10204950218572460&id=1150917958&set=a.1523477884157.2073706.1150917958&source=

BrianF
Heck I may be able to join some of you grape-picking Californians for some rides... Better watch out, we'll hold you to it. And there's plenty of grape picking going on in Oregon too...just, you know, lower quality, less prestigious grapes.
