Windscreens Like Stock But Not

Hi all

My stock 98 windscreen is a bit tatty at this point. I would like to replace it with a shiny new screen. For me the stock screen is fine. I get no buffeting and no wind noise. But the replacement OEM screens are pretty pricy. I wonder what I should replace it with. Is there another screen which I might like better? I ride winter and summer here in CT USA. What is the double bubble screen designed to do better then the stock screen? I dont know which way to go here. Any opinions? I dont like wind noise and I dont have it with the stock screen so it worries me a bit to try something else.

Mine had a double bubble on it when I bought it. Hated it. Replaced it with a stock one in winter, and cut the DB down even with the bodywork to use as a summer screen. Works great now. I recently replaced the stock screen with a Zero Gravity ST screen. Same shape as the stocker, but has a steeper profile. Noisier than the stocker, but no buffeting.

FYI I am 6', and wear a Shoei. Height, and helmets matter a lot when it comes to windscreens.

I'm 5'10 and also wear a shoei. I get no wind noise and no buffetting with the stocker on it. Sounds like I better stick with it. Thanks.

Here's one from the Zero Gravity Outlet. I tried the double bubble and didn't like the wind buffeting behind traffic, so I went to stock shape ZG and it's much better. (my stock had some type of funky chemical stain that can't be removed.)

So I ordered the SR screen from ZG outlet and 2 days later got a refund notice and an out of stock notice. Hmm.
