serfer
hi everyone! In cold Russia, between a seasons, we are spend our free time with our bears in garage, drink vodka, listening balalayka, and repair our bikes!)) In far 2010, when I was a poor student, I have a chance to buy unknown for me Honda VFR 800 "99. But it was not a real sport-tourist. It was a big mistake of mad man, who think, that his idea, will be great. I saw veefer with fiberglass plastic from gsxr 1000 k3. But I have no variants to buy another bike. Unfortunately, after two days, engine didn't start. There was a bad :-(At winter 2011, a found a new engine in USA, and I have a lot of problems to send it in Russia. But in March I start my bike! I spent a lot of effort that make my bike better. Then I think it was cool. But, in 2012, my bike was stolen! There was a very bad :-( In 2013 I found it near by Moscow, course in very bad condition. And in the begin of 2014, I decide a make my first streetfighter. A saw many images of jobs another people, and thought it great! After all, we install fiberglass tail from r6'07. Front light from gsxr k7. I was made a stop lights from plastic. We install a new dashboard. And so on... I like it, and love it. It is not a end of project. Fork from R1'06 is awaiting)) Follow me in instagram @serfer_dm to view more pics))

Member Contributer vfrAustin Posted September 20, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted September 20, 2014 Hey Serfer, Looks great! Stripping these bikes down really changes the feeling I get toward it. We get to look at that great engine all the time and not fuss over scratches to those huge fairings. I cant tell if you changed the bars to risers on the triple but that gives a very different riding impression as well. I love it!!! Enjoy
