vtwindr Posted July 24, 2014 Share Posted July 24, 2014 today 560miles The only thing of note is that it was idling fast when they plugged itinto teh diagnostics (over 1300 rpm) I had not noticed as the rev counter was reading 1200. They have adjusted it to 1150. Seems no different There was also a load of play in the throttle cable which they have sorted. The bike is now smoother at low speeds and some of the bumpinees has gone. What I thought was hard suspension bouncing me about compared to my big soft versys 1000 seems to have been aggravated by the bumps causing me to throttle on/off if that makes sense. Much better now the throyttle cable tension is correct £100 Rochdale Honda As far as the VTEC goes, I do not notice when it kicks in other than the engine note. The only thing I would say is if you hold it around 6500rpm for any reason it feels a bit flat when you then try and take off but really theer is no reason why you would need to do this, I was just playing to see what it was like at the change point Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
