I'm still delighted with these tyres after 4k miles and we've been getting plenty of sunshine for a change! These aren't just rain tyres - they really work well in all conditions and seem to suit the VFR very well. Can't see much in the way of wear either.

I have @ 8000 miles on the front tire which still looks good & wore out a rear at 5000 miles (aggressive riding~). I've been supremely happy with the PR4s; ordered a replacement for the rear & have about 3000 miles on that one now. I don't have one bad thing to say about them.

I picked up a nail in the first rear tire at about 500 miles. Plugged it & wore it out without any further issues.

I will note I'm at 6k on my PR3 rear. I ride pretty aggressively, but I check my tire pressure weekly. I estimate to make it to 10k on the rear if this keeps up. It still looks really good.

Loved the PR2s on my TDM900

Loved the PR3s on my Tiger 1050

Put PR4s on my GSX750F, loved them too but wrote it off a fortnight ago when the front end gave up under heavy braking.

Bought a 2001 5th Gen VFR last week, with a new 023 on the rear, and an old, possibly original (?) BT57 on the front (the bike had only done 7744 miles in 13 years).

On the advice of my local tyre specialists, am getting a Bridgestone S20 Evo for the front later this week.

Will report on the combination when I get back from trip to Germany in early September.

You will love the S20 for grip.

It will not last as long as sport touring tires but the feedback from the front is amazing.
