Member Contributer AnikMankar Posted March 3, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted March 3, 2014 Have power commander on the my 1998 for over 3 yrs now. Just noticed the displays on the PC is not at 100% when the throttle is open 100% the Throttle is calibrated. The Software shows 100% but the PCIII shows < 100%. Any clues ? Member Contributer Mohawk Posted March 3, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted March 3, 2014 Yeah the lights on the PC are fuel adjustment not Throttle Position !
Member Contributer AnikMankar Posted March 3, 2014 Author Member Contributer Share Posted March 3, 2014 It does move with the Throttle - so ideally shoudnt at full throttle it be at 100% ...well ! may be not !
AB-Oz
I thought the LED is to show how lean or rich the mixture is?
Member Contributer vfr350 Posted March 4, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted March 4, 2014 I thought the LED is to show how lean or rich the mixture is? Yeah the lights had something to do with fuel deveation from baseline and to aid in manually adjusting a map without a pc. Put the seat on, out of site out of mind. Interestingly i found paper copies of my maps from 04, decrypting my notes on what i changed is the challenge now. From what i can tell it was a slipon and k&n map that i combined with the track map in stages at 60 and +80% throttle openning. Not dyno perfect but if i disco the pc and ride it seems like a pooch but better mpg.
