I'm considering putting it on my 5th Gen and I know that the 8 spoke rim is a half an inch thinner then the standard 5 spoke my 5th gen came with. Veefer800Canuck Posted December 28, 2013 Share Posted December 28, 2013 The 90-93 8 spoke wheel is 17x5.5 same as the 98-09 5 spoke. Only the 94-97 5 spoke is narrower at 17x5.0 If you have already been given the tires, yes they will work. A 180 would be optimal though. You will not be able to used all the tread of the 190 to the edges. But it will fit, and it will work. No benefit, other than free. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
