Member Contributer YoshiHNS Posted October 3, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted October 3, 2013 I didn't see pricing, but here's their old kickstarter page. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/otherfab/the-othermill-custom-circuits-at-your-fingertips I don't think I would want to do a whole lot of aluminum with that thing. It's more of a glorified router. Pretty cool though. A friend might be interested for making circuit boards.

tcooper
Seen a couple versions of those crop up lately. They would be great for what the girl said: brass, copper, plastics, etc.. Can't see anyone milling parts for a vehicle with it though. I've been eyeing a G0704. $1300 to your door and includes a stand. Easily converts to CNC but is very capable on its own. Mills steel and any aluminum no problem.
SEBSPEED
I bought my little mill used for a great price, it can also be upgraded with CNC capability.
