Guest entropy Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 So, my wife is having a hard time riding with the paniers on the bike. She doesn't feel planted because the back of her feet hit the paniers. Has anyone here solved this issue? Maybe by adjusting the paniers bracket or mounting another bike's rear pegs? Have you checked with Knight Designs? http://www.knightdesignllc.com/ It occurs to me that they would be able to set you up with lower pegs that would give more heel room. My wife would like one of two options: (1) wider pegs so her feet can sit outside of the paniers, or (2) the paniers brackets to hang further back. She might also be happy with pegs that sit farther forward and down a bit, but I think her feet would hit my feet. I'll keep you posted (though I'm hoping someone posts here with a solution).
