Guest StillwaterVFR
After getting over how ugly a plain silver helmet can be, he puts Honda wings on it from http://www.xtremedec...CTIONSword=ww1 So it is tastefully decorated.... for 10 bucks plus shipping. Member Contributer CharlesW Posted September 27, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted September 27, 2012 Nice touch. Rosso: I can find the wings used by StillwaterVFR, but where do you find the ones you used?
Member Contributer vanion2 Posted September 27, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted September 27, 2012 Nice to show off your work covered in bug guts. At least we know they will hold up to impacts.
Guest StillwaterVFR
Awesome - I was feeling "flighty" when the wings were applied... just like the mythic Mercury.
Member Contributer Willy Posted September 27, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted September 27, 2012 Nice idea! I have a boring slver helmet too and was considering some HiViz stripes. But I just ordered some Yellow Wings instead. Thx.
Member Contributer CharlesW Posted September 27, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted September 27, 2012 I had the same basic idea but I didn't want quite that large of a wing. (FWIW, I don't consider plain silver to be ugly, just plain.) Also, not an Arai.

Why would you ruin a perfectly good helmet?! It is dangerous enough to ride in Wisconsin among all those crazy cheeze-heads w/o putting a target on your hat. Now get back to work! Member Contributer 2thdr Posted September 28, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted September 28, 2012 Huh...and I thought about puting MN Vikings horns on my helmet. You should have been at The HUB last weekend for our Arkansas meet. There was a guy from the ST group there that rode his ST around the campsite one night sporting a viking helmet with blinking, lighted horns while singing opera. Wish I would have gotten video...
