To bring this thread back from the dead: My 2002 will reach 50,000 miles/80,000 km by the end of May.

But I actually had a question: Does anyone know whether the 6th gen odometer will register more than 199,999? Is it capable of displaying a 2 or beyond? I've been searching online for photos of 6th gens with 200,000+ but I've not found anything just yet.

Haven't seen a picture either, but the owner's manual says that it doesn't display more than 99,999. It only displays an one-digit number (1,2,...) at the right end of the screen showing hundreds thousands miles/kilometers for a while when you turn the key to ON.

By the way, I'm at about 54,000 km or 33,560 miles at the moment.

Looking at the gauges again more closely, I can see that it has the LCD for a 1 as a 6th digit but no more. So, 199,999 it is

NO it flips over at 99,999 goes back to zero, the first 10,000 miles sucks afterwards .G

I hear when you first turn the key the true odometer is supposed to show, but never seen it, but normal use it flips at 99.000 back to zero for normal use.

I haven't looked at this thread for a long time. By the end of the week I'll have 90,000 kilometres (56,000 miles) on my 2005. Took it for a spin today. Still love it. No signs that it will stop any time soon.

Pulled in to the driveway tonight after work and the odo ticked over to 85K miles even on my '99.

102K miles this week. Sticking to the ~8K/year I guess.

Just turned 29k last week on my '06. Bought it last March ('15) with 24k, I'm the third owner. In 16 months I've replaced the stator, R/r, installed Ohlins rear shock, Racetech fronts, upgraded wiring harness, and chain and sprockets.

Hoping for a lot more miles before I have to do anything else besides fuel, oil, and tires. Good thing I love this beauty!

Just turned 80,000 this last season on my 04. No valve checks, seems like it runs better as the miles pile on.

After my trip to Barber motor sports vintage festival added another thousand So I'm well over 50K on my '97. Does not seem like much compared to others here.

My X, bought Oct 16 with 190 miles now has over 14k so on for a decent high mileage. Doubt she'll hit the 130k my '98 did though.
