Member Contributer DannoXYZ Posted April 28, 2023 Member Contributer Share Posted April 28, 2023 One or more safety-interloc switches are broken or wiring in between is broken. Measure clutch, sidestand and neutral switches and verify they work properly. Then measure line to ECU and verify signal actually nakes it there. Could be corroded terminals in connectors or broken wire along way.

Check your Sidestand Switch. So It looks like the switch has been removed because it's not there and if Im correct on the placement it would be on the kickstand correct

Check that the switch transfers the Ground to the Green/White wire in the Up position, and to the Yellow/Black in the Down position. The Sidestand warning light will either be a blown globe, bad Sidestand ground, faulty switch or wiring. The ICM Must see a Ground from the Sidestand Switch on the Green/White wire when Up - if Not = Dead engine when placed in gear.
