I saw that when it popped up. 87, so parts wise not the best for me, mine are all 86. My buddy with an 87 doesn't quite understand the importance of local parts bikes when they become available when you own 35 year old machines. What exhaust is on it? I suspect fuel-pump, maybe relay. Send carbs to squirrelman for restoration. Tank is rusted from being exposed all this time with no cap. Gonna de-rust with electrolysis and then nickel-coat it. And yours looks like it's more complete and in better shape. Supposedly, It has a rebuilt engine, and just needs the carbs cleaned to get it running. We'll see. I thought the '86-'87 were pretty close to the same thing...? I'm not sure what exhaust is on it. The guy mentioned something about it, but I'd already bought it and figured I'd figure it out when I got home. Plus, it was raining. Now that I'm home, it's been snowing. Visually yes. There are little differences that can make some parts not compatible. The biggest being a change from Analog Ignition to Digital.
