Badger1
Does anyone have any experience with a Corbin heated seat? With temperatures starting to drop, I wonder if it would help those chilly morning commutes.
Member Contributer interceptor69 Posted November 6, 2022 Member Contributer Share Posted November 6, 2022 Don't know about "heated" but had one of their replacement seats w/ cowl on my '98 VFR and it was the most uncomfortable seat I'd ever sat on-and to boot the red pain on the cowling wasn't even close to matching the pain of the bike. Member Contributer VifferJ Posted November 6, 2022 Member Contributer Share Posted November 6, 2022 I don't have the Corbin gen 8 seat but what I don't care for it is it's a one piece instead of a 2 piece like the oem gen 8 seat, which means you can't use the rear cowl. I sent my oem gen 8 seats to Sargent and had them add better foam, heat, and recover. It's been a half dozen years so I don't remember the cost but I like it a lot and works great, I don't know if they still do this service but it's worth looking into, heat controller mounted on left side see pics below.
