I have discovered that the left side bag leaks in the rain. I used some cornstarch for a
water test on the Interceptor’s saddle bag and found leaks in multiple locations. I think the gasket, which I believe is made out of neoprene, has shrunk in general and/or is permanently compressed where the solid plastic of the lid presses against it. Attached is a photo showing the cross-section of the gasket. It is 3/4” x 11/32“. Does anyone think I can  find/purchase a direct replacement somewhere? I’m guessing not, so I’m going to search for some weatherstripping type product that is ~11/32 inches wide and ~1/8” thick that would fit behind the gasket in the channel in which it sits.

Any ideas or suggestions much appreciated!

Might try smearing a light coating of shin-etsu grease on the gasket? Seems to work wonders for sunroof leaks on cars.
