VFR80025th
Date has been scheduled in February. My shop has ordered new front wheel bearings for me. I opted for new OEM bearings rather than installing the same ones back in. I also decided to put on brand new rubber. I bought the bike with Michelin Road 5s that have 60 to 70% tread left but are close to five years old. I would have worn them out but since I am going to the expense of powder coating the wheels I'm throwing on a new set of Fresh Road 5s to start the season with. I have also took the opportunity to order right angle valve stems. I'm looking forward to easy tire pressure checks this summer. While the bike is waiting for the wheels I'm having the clutch and brake fluid flushed and the coolant changed. Oil and filter and air filter were changed before winter storage. I will post pics after project is complete. My wife always says that when it comes to my VFRs "you spare no expense". Everything else "when it comes to money" I give her grief. LOL I would have to agree.
