ElPolloDiablo
Who's up for a challenge? I was able to buy a new Bagster tank cover but all labels have been cut off. According to the seller it is for a CBR1000, but looking this one up on the website of Bagster, it seems different. That's all the information I have. Will you help search? ElPolloDiablo
I did. They can not help, since the labels are gone.
Member Contributer auggius Posted January 21, 2022 Member Contributer Share Posted January 21, 2022 I had one on my '95. Great bag but it got worn out over years of use. I take it that it doesn't fit your '99 vfr. Did you get a bag with it too? I'd be interested if you do.
Member Contributer Dutchy Posted January 21, 2022 Member Contributer Share Posted January 21, 2022 It is not for a RC36-2 / 4th gen
Member Contributer JZH Posted January 21, 2022 Member Contributer Share Posted January 21, 2022 There were two versions of the CBR1000F, and mine was the later version, which might have had a different shape tank, but your red cover doesn't look exactly the same as the Bagster cover on this bike: That is my old '93, which is now owned by VFRD's very own Gebruiker, who lives (sometimes) in Zuid Holland. Member Contributer Wald Posted January 22, 2022 Member Contributer Share Posted January 22, 2022 It looks like it is for a `89 cbr1000. I had one back then in grey, but do not remember if it had the snap on in the center

I was looking for only the bag 🙂
Member Contributer JZH Posted January 28, 2022 Member Contributer Share Posted January 28, 2022 The snap is one way to determine the age of the cover--they stopped including the snap at some point after phasing out the bag(s) which used it. FYI, in addition to Bagster, which is a French company, there is another French company, called Top Sellerie, which makes similar bags and covers (as well as seats). I've never seen one in the flesh, but it could be one of theirs? Ciao, JZH
