Crewwolfy
While I was working on my VFR, I bought (and have sold) a 2018 motorcycle. The handlebar switches were so smooth and crisp. I would like to renew my VFR to those levels. I understand I'll need the disassemble/clean/lubricate the internal components. Are there recommendations on cleaning agents? What is the best lubricant to use to renew these parts? Feel free to add anything I may have overlooked. Thanks!

Member Contributer DannoXYZ Posted October 28, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted October 28, 2021 For mechanical pivots, a little dab of silicone grease keeps it smooth for years.

You are correct I purchased a small tube of the stuff a fair while ago online. Sorry I don't have any reference of my purchase. I do remember it being an American company I purchased it from, not ebay. Just do a bit of googling. Good luck. Cheers.
