Cozeys map PC3 non usb
By Guest
Cozeys map for non usb model power commander 3. Every other line taken out to work with rpm change every 500 rpms instead of every 250 rpms as with PC3 usb model. For some reason it would not let me use the .map file extension so I just picked another one that it would let me load. I think you can just change it manually from .mov to .map and it should work fine.

Cozye's Map PCIII NON-USB
By Ryanme17
Here is a version of Cozye's map converted to run on a nonUSB PCIII.
Because Cozye's map has adjustments for every 250 RPM, and nonUSB PCIII only has ever 500 RPM, I made a few minor tweaks, usually only 1 % richer to try to get the same AFR between 500 RPM marks, but for the most part, it's just the same numbers copy-pasted over into the different format.
This is for the 2002-2005 models.

'06 PCV Autotune generated map
By coderighter
My bike is an '06 with Remus Carbon fibers, BMC filter, and PAIR plugged. I started with the Dynojet Staintune map because it was the richest (safest) of the none stock pipe maps. It has since been Autotuned with the trims accepted 10 times. At this point most of the common cells have been "autotuned". The rest are still at the Staintune setting. I will try to reload this download every month or so, as I ride and more cells get set.
Even if you don't have a PCV but have a PCIII, you could download PCV software at Dynojet.com (free) and open the file and look at the setting. This might help you make informed choices on map setting in your PCIII.

1998-1999 vfr 800 PC3 usb - staintune K&N or stock filter
After recently purchasing a PC3 usb unit after my trusty pc2 unit finally died (70k) miles I found that my old map file from the PC2 were no longer compatable. So I carefully collected the seperate tables on the PC2 and extrapolated the data into the PC3 usb software, averaging and smoothing the extra data points for the usb unit. conversion from .map file to .djm

PC3 USB Staintune 1998-2001 5th gen European map
This is a direct transcription of the pc2 files posted at dynojet I combined the AAP tables and MP file tables from the original(map)file and converted it into a single (dmj) file table. The european staintune map is considerably leaner than the US version over the entire range of rpm and throttle postion.
I found it has good fuel economy and smooth power delivery for my 1998 vfr high mount staintune with silencer bud and K&N filter I used this map exclusivly when I had my old PC2. I get 40-42 mpg with this map riding 70-80 mph on the highways. I went back to this map after suffering 35mpg from the us version when I upgraded from the PC2 to a PC3 usb with no noticible difference in performance, I transcribed the old european pc2 map and made this file. The leaned out areas actually remove some flat spots from OEM fuel map hard coded in the ECM of the bike.

Graphic comparison of Coderighter's map vs Dynojet PCV stock map
By Guest
As my first contribution to this outstanding forum I put together an excel based analysis, or rather cross-comparison, of the Dynojet PCV stock map for 2006 VFR800 ABS and Coderighter's map generated by Auto Tune (if I understood correctly). The motive for such an endeavor was the fact that I am a lucky owner of black 2006 VFR800 ABS anxiously expecting his PCV to come in mail in about a week's time, on top of that I am a finance guy - hence excel spreadsheets with funny graphs.
On the topic, I laid out Coderighter's maps for every gear in one tab (along with graphs of values for every gear) and Dyno stock in another tab (six copies since Dyno uses single map for all gears), the third tab contains the tables of differences between the two maps.
My personal observation sort of supports real life experience of folks that used Coderighter's maps with much success, especially in respect of two aspects: 1)lower overall fuel consumption (Coderighter has somewhat leaner maps, or so it seems from comparison tables), 2) smoother Vtec over the whole RPM range without sharp surges at 6500 RPM. I am yet to try the map for real but you can bet that I will. Love the results on graph. Someone mentioned surges at 3000RPM, that sort of shows through on the graphs, slightly richer values, that could have differing implications for every bike, so not sure how that translates into a surge.
Many thanks to Coderighter, I follow your threads with much dedication, and Cozye for his early inputs that live on.
PS: To view the file change the extension from *.doc to *.xls, I couldn't upload the file in its original form nor as a zip archive (got unsupported standard message).

Coderighter new, Rev 3 Map. Note some changes in bike setup.
By coderighter
It's been a while, sorry. I added a vacuum switch to disable Autotune during deceleration. The disabling during deceleration prevents the Autotune from trying to correct the mixture while the bike's EMU is trying to lean it for coast. The Autotune will try to "fix-it" wasting fuel and screwing up the trim map until the next time you hit the corresponding cells.
I have disconnected the Evap. since the last update.

Pres day map for Power Commander 5
By VFRBenny
This is a 6 speed map. This map has been evolving over the last few weeks. Speed Calibration was done via GPS and gear speeds were set @ 5k rpm.
Temps range from 50* to 70* but mostly in the mid 60's. Evevation was from Sea level to 4000 feet. Average around 1500 ft.
The trims are now at a max +/-1~3.
In mixed riding the MPG are @ 41. Tearing it up in the hill will get as bad as 36 mpg. Straight freeway speeds can get 43 mpg.
Most of the map is running 13.2 afr, But at 0~20% throttle in the 4250~6250 RPM range in 5&6 gears the AFR is 13.7.(I tried leaner, but the bike got back the mid range buzz, so 13.7 it is).
Y2K with gutted airbox, PiperCross filter, Staintune and no o2/Pair.
Enjoy.

Modified Cozye PC3 USB Map (2004 VFR)
By CharlesW
Since I seemed to be able to improve some areas of the mapping for my particular bike, I thought I would upload the map and make a few comments.
1. I really don't know what I am doing
2. If I can do it, anyone can
3. I figured the only way I could actually damage the motor was by leaning things out and it seemed like the areas I wanted to work on needed more fuel, not less. I figured that would only hurt economy which it did, but only a small amount. Probably less than 5%.
4. Bike is a 2004, stock exhaust, K&N, PAIR valves and Flapper valve disabled. Snorkle in place.

09vfr800a.zip
By dawson
A zip file containing some log files generated by a DynoJet LCD-200. Files include data on AFR, TPS, duty cycle, rpm, engine temp (straight voltage from sensor) and MAP (voltage from sensor). All files can be opened in a spreadsheet to generate graphs, etc.
Just for general interest.
Bike is an '09 VFR800A with stock airbox, stock exhaust and the PAIR is blocked.

5th Gen PCII & PCIII maps
By Knight
Some of these I pulled from the Power Commander site. For the files that are corrupt on that site I searched the net and found the missing files on some old plain .html personal blogs such as:
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stu.tyrrell/PowerCommanderMaps.htm
Note that some of the PCII files have modified ignition.
Make sure and critically analyze any map before implementing it! I have nothing to do with these maps except that I searched for them and posted them here.

2002 vfr800 dyno tune map for power commander V
By mvvette97
This is a map that was set up on a dyno in Wisconsin. I leaned it out a little in the cruise area. It's set up for a catless header with the flapper air box mod and K&N air filter and using the O2 optimizers. I got this from the tuner I bought my power commander 5 from. Seems to run very smooth and pulls hard.

16-005-508/018 blend
By MattyIce
This is my first post, but I have been reading the forum for years. I just got a PCV during the pandemic to kill some time and ran into a dead end in terms of maps for my bike:
1999 VFR800 with Vance & Hines SSR slip-on, airbox top lid removed (no flapper, snorkel, etc) with pipercross high flow filter in place. Before installing the PCV it was sounding and feeling like a 250 parallel twin until I fattened up the "1998-1999 Erion slip-on" map from Dynojet, by adding the difference in fueling points between the 16-005-503 vs 16-005-508 maps between 2% - 20% WOT until 6000 RPM to accommodate the "airbox valve disabled" as its listed in the Dynojet notes. Although, Dynojet support advised against using the European maps at first, I was able to make it work by subtracting -6 points (~2 jet sizes) from the fueling numbers on 16-005-508 across the table from 2-20% and from 750 - 6000 RPM (assuming my ECU is enabling the 2nd intake track at 5500 rpm and disabling it at 5000 rpm, per the service manual) I test drove it today and it does make a big difference. Again this map is a hybrid mix of the Euro '02 airbox valve disabled map and the '98 erion slip-on map 16-005-018. I have tried out all the other maps listed here on this forum and this one works best for my bike. Cheers!
