Sorry I haven't been around guys. I've done some work on the bike... ;)

Installed:

Gear indicator - soldered the wites directly to the dash loom

12V plug

New grips

Short levers

Painted and polished the rims (didn't like the black color

Installed the Scorpion exhaust and wraped the pipes

Changed the brake pads (thank God I decided to paint the rims!)

Scorpions... they look like the should be there from the factory! :) I LOVE THEM!

Looks fantastic, and great add-ons!

Any pics of the wiring while you installed the gear indicator?  Any tips?  I bought a cheap one off eBay and will be installing over the winter

I didn't take any pics I'm sorry but as I remember the wires are:

Second wire from the left side of the connector that connects into the dash is a switched power one, that's where you start from. You must use a multi meter (tool) to make sure this is the one. Connect the red wire to that connector on the jack and the black wire of the tool anywhere on the metal part of the frame, turn the key and see if you get 12V+ voltage. If you get 12V before you turn the key - that's the constant power source, don't use it, you need the switched power source.

Use the ground from the frame! This is important, not from the wiring loom.

The white wire on the gear indicator is the "learn" wire (in my case) connect it to the ground to program the gadget.

Solder everything but don't cut the wires in the loom, just take about 3-4 mm of insulation from the wires of the loom, solder the indicator's wires to them and insulate them well with electrical tape. After you've insulated them individualy, use some more tape to wrap them all together, connect the jack and pull the rubber cover over it. That's it. ;)

Light green with red stripe is the neutral gear signal

Pink is speedo pulse

Yellow with green stripe is tacho pulse

I hope this helps!
