  1. Put some moth balls in tin foil, keeps critters away. Get a box of old school moth ball, wrap in tin foil, poke holes in tin foil. keeps the mice away.
  2. Hey Grasshopper (yoshi on mt50), Nice use of the "walk the ricepaper" in between spokes....how'd you do that?
  3. Yes I am !!!! I miss it every year, not this time. I like camping but maybe April is just too cold still. I may book a room at Comfort Inn. I am really going for the dualsport ride, putting some 606 dunlop off road tires on Xt600 but also may bring the VFR and just trailer both bikes. Whats your plans? Do you want to split a room or are you camping? Doug

  4. Hey Doug, you going to Moonshine this year?

  5. I wanted to take that trip to Florida Keys. But after reading about heavy traffic, lots of tourists, and very pricey motels I passed on that trip. What was your experience? Worth the ride or maybe go someplace less crowded? thanks.

At first I thought it was Baileyrock :fing02: ....then I am thinking...now where did he get a red one? What would be great is this guy doing this on a demo ride/test ride....the owner/dealer may get a slight queasy feeling.
  7. Hey Doug,

Fellow Hoosier and VFR rider (2004) Don Nicholls, here. I reside in Noblesville. Once the weather improves and you feel like attacking some twisties, look me up at nicholls79@ hotmail.com.

  8. Seb, they will work fine, not sure if are open ended but an exacto knife solves that. Softer than oem grips but less cush than a progrip, middle of road between sport and tour. You will like the knurled pattern, grippy and a bit sticky. oem grips, these harris VFR grips (FIRM) renthal (MID) progrip (SOFT) follow my complex chart above and if they don't work I will buy at $15 shipped thats like a $2-$7 gamble, can you do it?
  9. Seb, both are softer than oem....the grip is good, I would go with the medium. Less cush than a progrip but more cush than oem.
  10. I have the Pazzo look alikes on both V-stroms and they are exactly same quality as Pazzo.....very happy with them. I love the chinese sellers names on ebay......I buy from FIRE DRAGON BROS but really want to try HEY MAN....now when a company is called HEY MAN are the levers any good? YES DUDE, lol. probably every single one is out of the same factory. Really Nice quality to me from Fire Dragon Brothers. HEY MAN
  11. Sam, Quit tearing up that bike or maybe you have some sparklers taped on there?. You are just a lucky SOB to live near the GAP and in riders paradise.
  12. The linked braking system is a great feature that works very well. No way I would eliminate it from my VFR. Why?
  13. Great !!!! Keep pushing forward on your ideas....ignore the doubters.....go to you tube and watch "The Power of Dreams" , failure is the key to success .....realize you can never fail, many prototypes & problems sure but eventually you will get there. Thinking this way is THE KEY to HONDA DEVELOPMENT. Best Wishes on your project...remember Mother HONDA had millions of set backs just to get that 2 wheeled machine in your driveway, they did not quit. When I ride I am always thinking "what an amazing machine" We all get to enjoy the benefits of these machines, we just turn the key and go....nobody thinks about the thousand of hours it took to design something. Good Luck, I am with you, now get back to work, DOUG
  14. This guy I like...its that whiney actor guy that should stay home next trip around.
