  3. Can someone tell me whether the OE GSXR mirrors have Toyo stamped on the bottom of the mirror housing, or do I have aftermarket?
  4. Here you go : Mirrors: http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Honda/Motorcycle/2000/VFR800FI+A/UPPER+COWL/parts.html Parts number 23 and 25 if you want the OE mirror assemblies, and 2x part no. 24 regardless of what mirrors you choose. You can get the mirrors either OE or aftermarket like my Emgo mirrors. Extenders: http://burkhartcycle.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=121
  5. I'm really interested in the Renthal 756 conversion. I have a 99 and I have just a few questions to clear up before I bite the bullet on the parts. ST1100 cables are the way to go? From what I'm seeing, they're the same part numbers throughout the year range. I haven't seen anything relating to the fast idle lever on the 98-99 models. Will it reach? My wrists give me pain after ~150 miles or so, and I believe it's because of the angle of the stock bars. I.E. too much /--\. I feel that a straighter bar would relieve a lot of wrist pain. I have GenMar risers that came on the bike, but I feel that if I sat up just a bit more it'd be perfect. I don't have back pain as is, but I feel like I sit better on the seat when I can sit up a bit more. I like the idea of extra width and a place to clamp stuff in the middle. Thanks in advance, RD
  6. Here's my 99 with the 00-01 Emgo mirrors and Burkhart extenders. Don't forget to purchase the newer style rubber insulator. This setup is working great for me.
  7. Looks great, what LED lights are these?
  8. So are there a bunch of 5th gen wheels out there just collecting dust and available for cheap?I'm not sure, but I was heartbroken when they sent me an email after purchase, stating that after they pulled the tire off, they noticed the wheel was bent. Luckily, they had another one, which they sent instead.I don't plan on selling my 5th rear. I'll likely keep it and have it powdercoated to match the others so that I can sell the 8 spoke separately if that time ever comes.
  9. Keep an eye on international eBay. I just got a 8 spoke from Germany for just over $200.
  10. They're a terrible idea on cars, and they retain all of their terribleness on bikes. It's a 30 cent resistor wrapped in plastic. Save your money... RD
