I started riding in 1982 at the tender age of 18, much to my parents' horror. It started out as a way to get to Uni, but quickly blossomed into a passion once I joined the Auckland Uni Motorcycle Club and had my eyes opened to the open road and corners.

My current rides are a Yamaha MT-10SP (sounds lik a VFR, goes like stink) and a Vespa Prmavera 150 scooter, upon which it is very hard to take yourself seriously. Latest purchase is a 1999 VFR800 as I missed the jewel-like qualities of Honda's best bike ever.
