  1. Also in on this. Teaming up with a riding buddy/roomy on this one! Looks like it's gonna be a great turn out. Stay sane through the winter.
  2. I could hear the Hardley Madeits start up from here. Well that's because "loud pipes save lives"!!!!! I saw it on a shirt a Hardley riding was wearing on the ferry so it must be true............ Sorry to hear about the deer too.

  5. yycviffer +1 home safe and sound. Hey, did anyone else getted hosed yesterday south of the ferry on the 3A down to Creston????? There was a woman with a garden hose at the end of her driveway squirting the road when she heard a bike coming!!! WTF and I was doing the speed limit. Hit the hot springs out of Nelson, and spent a relaxing evening in Fernie at the ski hill. Came home today. Great seeing everyone and thanks all for making the trip memorable for my other half. Looking forward to the next and + 23 on the thanks to the funkmiester for all the planning. I have to admit I'm kind of on a down today. I've been looking forward to this since Novemember and now it's over all ready. Jeremy

  9. Hey, Has anyone out there installed the Rostra electronic cruise on the viffer? Most interested if someone has done it on a 5th Gen. 10. Anyone have any real world experience with this? Read a little bit on a Duc forum and a Guzzi forum. Yes its just a spoofer but its also considerably less $ then a Power Commander or a Rapid Bike.

  12. Hey Guys, Well a couple of years ago I embarked on a project to replace the rear sets on my 5 Gen with the that of a 6 Gen. The reasons were two fold; Firstly, I thought they looked tons better. Secondly, I wanted to have an option for a different rear set in the future. Well I have been looking at the Sato sets but was kinda choking on the $600+ price. The I looked at the 8 Gen quick shifter but that was $400 plus a new step holder. I knew the new step holder was key so bought that and then starting going through the Honda parts bin. This is what I have come up with. The pedal is in almost the exact same position as stock and I am just waiting on the arm for the gearshift lever to come in. So far though, I am pretty happy with where its going. Plus all stock Honda parts. Always nice and no need to do anything to the right side.
  13. Hey guys, Unless I missed the post, (which is an extreme possibility) what was the plan to bolt the gsxr mirror to the new mount?
  14. Hey guys, I have been working on mirrors at the moment and am still up in the air. I had/have the ebay mirrors on my bike now. Broke one off as the stalk is plastic. At the point were it meets the mirror base there is only about a 1/16" of plastic surrounding the metal piece that is embedded in the mirror stalk. Didn't really want to go that route again. Have been working on gsxr mirror and various bases, BUT have not been happy with the angle of the mirror in relation to the bike so far. I would definitely be interested a set of decent bases for a 5 Gen as long as you can get the look better then what I have now. I have even though about going back to stock mirror's!!!!!!!!!
