Mother Nature and Honda bring light to the darkness. Very Nice!
  2. I love that color scheme! Beautiful machine.
  3. Hi MaxSwell, Thank you for your donation of 100.00 USD. We look forward to improving the forums with your donation. Thanks VFRDiscussion
  4. This exact thing happened to me on the way to a SumSum. We stopped to meed HS and he figured this out and solved the problem for me. The issue was with an aftermarket front sprocket. Honda's OEM sprocket has a rubber cushion attached that quiets the works and makes the assembly wider. Mine had an aftermarket sprocket that was thinner than OEM so the plastic nut eventually worked it's way out of engagement. If one looks at a fifth gen overall there are many noise and vibration dampeners throughout the machine; even the OEM foot pedals are rubber isolated. More comfort for ones feet. Any I want to give Honda engineers kudos for the great overall design of my fifth gens. BTW: thanks again to Miguel for fixing this for me.
  5. Simply Wow! What a fabulous restoration of what seem to me to be an extremely obscure motorcycle. I'll bet you'll never see one of these comming at you on any random ride. Congrats. What's it like to ride?
  6. Wow! Two hotties in one pic. Great shot.
  7. That beautiful machine looks quite lonely. But at lease it is not lonely from being in the garage all the time.

Bliss! Great choice of words. Pretty much describes any ride on a VFR that brings you home with both body and machine whole and unmolested.
  9. Dutchy! You are becoming a MaxTer Maker. Good on you Dood! Your machines are truly fabulous.
  10. Nice dutchinterceptor! I've always liked the white ones.

    Quarry Rd tunnel

I think the pic is fabulous. Great contrast and, as anyone who has ever ridden one, it is truely a bright light at the end of the tunnel.

    SunUp in Moab

Fabulous pic of a fabulous place. Utah - Moab to Zion and Moab to Green Ricver are my absolute favorite places to ride. Great National Parks and free camping in national lands. My overall inpression is riding on another planet. Highly recommended.

    Fabulous pic!
  17. Looking good there Doc. Hope all is well with you and yours.
  18. Thank you for all these suggestion. I have a high-low pair from Aerostich which, being the procrastinator I am, have not been installed. Now I am inspired to get this done as soon as the glaciers depart this part of the country.

A dramatic photo of a fabulous machine with a great name.
  20. I tried to read it but could not get into it. I have seen to bookcover pictures though and instantly flashed to it when I saw your pic.
  21. Lovely picture of a great machine. The pic invokes the Stephen King novel The Dark Tower. How does it feel to be at the nexus point of the time-space continuum? (Although the "tower" in your pic is somewhat unimpressive.)
  22. Fabulous picture of a fabulous machine.
