After 2 years of riding in jeans, I finally bit the bullet and bought some Vanson Technical Sport Rider pants. Found a pair in extra long and have loved them. Now I wouldn't consider riding without.

I've made a conscious decision to slow down a bit on public roads, and I'm beginning to wonder if an Aerostitch might be a better bet in the long-term. I love the protection of leather, but something more versatile is appealing. I do like the Vanson stuff though. As long as I keep my weight about the same, it should last me for 10-15 years and black never goes out of style. Perhaps one day I'll have the stich. For now, I guess I'll be the Road Warrior.
