heavyt
Hi Guys, So I have been doing a lot of research and there is so much good stuff here. I've pulled the trigger on a 1997 VFR750 and converting it to a street fighter/cafe racer project. Can you guys help me out with: - close up pics of your custom under-seat frames - pics of their mounting points to original frame - Compatible (digital/analogue/modern) speedo modules to replace existing stuff I plan on documenting this VERY thoroughly as more information is always better. Thanks!
douglasthecook
I mounted a RC-51 subframe/fairing and seat to my VFR, probably not the streetfighter look you want. It wasn't too hard. Wasn't too hard, just had to fab up some custom aluminum links to bolt the new subframe to the VFR frame. I also mounted a CBR 1000RR cluster to my VFR as well. That also wasn't too hard, just need the wiring diagram from the VFR, as well as the wiring diagram from the CBR you are getting the gauge from. Cut the harness, and start splicing wires. I made my own gauge mount for that as well. Unfortunately as I'm in Afghanistan, I don't really have the ability to take pics of what you're looking for, but there may be some pics in my gallery.
