KPH - MPH speedo face supplier?

I’m looking to install a MPH speedo face over my KPH speedo face. Converting from KPH to MPH in my head is driving me nuts!

Does anyone know a good supplier of speedo faces for converting KPH to MPH?

Not sure anyone makes faces anymore (apart from Chinese "custom" stuff), but the face or even the entire speedo may be swappable:

How about the entire speedo unit, then?  Where is the miles/kilometers converting done?  On the older bikes (RC36), even those with electronic speedos, there were different senders for MPH and KPH, but I'm not sure where the conversion is done on the RC46.  If it's in the speedo, that's what I've pictured above--I just pulled it out of my spare instrument cluster to take the picture.

Yes, the speedo dial is swappable but will be inaccurate.

Objection, your honour, council assumes facts not in evidence.

John is correct that 5th gen RC46 the odometer/tripmeters cannot toggle between km and miles so you'd have to live with that. (Otoh, my 6th gen allows me to toggle the speedo/odo/trip between kph & mph. But then, all those are digital displays.)

However, swapping speedometers would be fine. Looking at John's speed you see that, for example, 70 mph is about 110 kph. If kph was the major scale the needle would be in the same relative position. As shown in this scan from a Euro-market 5th gen owner's manual.

Below are a few pics of KPH and MPH speedometers. Comparing the increment gradations it looks like they’re a straight swap.

This is what my KPH speedo looks like:

This is what a KPH-MPH speedo looks like (no longer made):

I thought the increments would be in different places but they’re not. Solution: stick a MPH speedo face over my KPH speedo.

Thanks everyone one for your help!

Speedo face now fitted and working fine. Thanks to everyone for their help.

There was some old stock KPH-MPH speedos by a UK company called Redial UK on eBay and I snapped one up. It came with an FI warning light which my ‘97 doesn’t have but I don’t mind that.

Here’s a tip for setting the needle to zero: fit the needle at top speed and turn it anti-clockwise (backwards) until it meets the stop at zero. This avoids most of the issues people have experienced in the past when dismantling their gauges. Also works with RPM gauge. I had to disassemble the dashboard 5 times before figuring this out. Very annoying!

Strapped my phone with a speed app on the handlebars to compare accuracy and the dial is running nearly 20% conservative. So when the dial shows 24mph I’m actually doing 20mph.

Not or a train smash but hardly ideal. The gearing may have been changed by a previous owner.

Changed dashboard lights to white led also. May as well if speedo is accessible.

Sorry for poor pic - camera phone struggles with light displays.
