Need help with o2 connectors on VFR 1200F DCT

Recently bought a 2010 VFR 1200F DCT and starting to regret not leaving it alone.
Picked up a Rapidbike Easy o2 manipulator hoping to smooth out things around town. Not really looking for more power.
This just plugs in line with the O2 sensors and fools the ECU into upping the APR at low to medium revs.
So, have removed both side fairing panels, loosened off the three(?) radiator mounting bolts and found the O2 sensor connectors inside the left side of the frame.
I can just about touch them but not much more.
Reading other people's experiences when fitting o2 eliminators, the secret seems to be releasing the connectors from their mounting on the frame allowing access to the connectors themselves.
How are the connectors released from the frame?
I'm reluctant to give up having come this far, but getting to that point!
Any advice out there?

You're almost there...

You can get all the room you need by taking the radiator off from the top, then let it hang forward. Don't even have to drain it.  I removed the nut on the right side, bent the wing on the left side and the radiator slides out. Then bent the wing back into position to re-install.

Its something like that. Haven't done it in 7 years
