Straycat
Hi, anyone know if there are issues with swapping out the stock clip-on's fro ones with no riser. I want lower bars on the project bike, any tips on the off-sets or angle of clip-ons that work well. thanks
Member Contributer Captain 80s Posted July 18, 2017 Member Contributer Share Posted July 18, 2017 500s are actually pretty hard to fit different bars without fouling on the upper cowl and tank. You would prob need to drill and tap your steering stops in the lower triple clamp to limit the steering lock.

Had a very nice set of Tomaselli's on my 750 late 80's, 90's and it was very close as you say. Tank and faring did have small dents.....Sent from my HTC_PN071 using Tapatalk
Straycat
yes, i figured it would be hard given the clearance on the stock bars, Ill be tackling it but figured i'd ask to see who's done what, and what's worked best thanks
