2004 VFR800 plastic chain guard bolts

Hi there,

can anybody tell the what sort of bolt goes on plastic chain guard cover on the back side?

i dont know if i have misplaced it or it wasn't there.

in any case, the cover seems bit loose and this is the only one left.

it is on the back side of the cover so bit hard to get to.

i hope i have explained it properly.

They're called Pan Head screws and are 6mm x 1.0 thread pitch. Although I'm sure you can source it somewhere other than Honda, I've had a hard time finding an exact replacement but if you're not picky I'm sure a nice Allen head bolt and a fender washer would work.

Sounds like you are asking about the plastic trim clips Honda calls 'clip, drive chain case'. The 6th gen requires two of these. They are part number 90684-MBG-003 shown here as #18:

sfdownhill, you got it right.

that is exactly what i am looking for.

i took out the wheel to have a better look. 

this has given me opportunity to clean as well.

I thought i found the clips but these aren't fitting at all. Can anybody take a picture of ur bike for this clip and put it here. Much appreciated.
