napcool Posted April 24, 2017 Share Posted April 24, 2017 Hey Guys,I need your help. Ex VFR user. My current motorcycle doesn't seem to start. I have a 2004 Hornet 599 with 17k miles on it. When I try starting, the hornet starts but doesn't turn over (see video). Would definitely appreciate all the help. Following is what I did to the bike;- replaced my spark plug- checked the fuel lines for kinks (fuel lines were brand new)- battery showed 12.8VThere was gas still reaching the carbs after I drained it. I wasn't getting fuel once on my 06 because I pulled the vacuum line from the petcock while lifting the tank. Your plug wires or boots may have come loose.
