Bigdan
Could anyone please point me in the direction or provide the Torque specs for my 2015 VFR. I have the TREX complete kit and can't find the torque specs for the sliders/frame bolts. I checked my manual over and over and those specs aren't there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dan
Coaster
You could just call or email them. They were quick to respond when I had an issue. Nice folks. customerservice@t-rex-racing.com 972-243-7868 Of course that full kit did come with instructions which has the torque specs on it. My instructions for the N38-3B3 2002-2017 VFR800 sliders says 30-35 ft-lb for 10mm bolts. My service manual for my 2003 says 33 ft-lbs so the instructions are basically correct (if verification really what you wanted). One thing to watch - that top bolt on each side goes into a nut. You'll have to hold that for remove and install and it's best if you have small hands; it's easy to drop in the bowels, don't ask how I know. I recommend blue loctite as well. Only downside is having to remove the slider every time you want to remove the body work, like for an oil change or to add coolant. That's a pain.
