Baketech
Anyone know if you can successfully debadge the titanium Akra slip-on with no marks or evidence? Thanks
Rambler358
Yep, it should just peel right off.
Member Contributer Dutchy Posted March 31, 2017 Member Contributer Share Posted March 31, 2017 If the badge is new, not already crumbled/baked on, yes. I'd use a hairdryer to warm it up a bit first. Peel beginning with a fingernail or plastic scraper If things get tough (as the Laser decals on my RC51 pipes), apply the most aggressive paint stripper (gel type) you can find (test a wee blob on an inconspicuous part of the muffler

Member Contributer winvfr Posted April 5, 2017 Member Contributer Share Posted April 5, 2017 Mine came off pretty easily - just needed a bit of acetone to clean up afterwards. I replaced it with one that was more subtle that I found on eBay.
Shinigami
I like the one they sell through Honda dealers in the UK- it's laser engraved rather than marked with that big sticker.

I wish they sold those in North America. We get the black/red/yellow decal on ours which in my opinion looks fine on a CBR, etc. but seems out of place on the VFR.
